Default functionality stumpers for vvtr/pro control users

We're running Pro Tools 6.9, Pro Control, and VVTR. Has anyone figured out a way to do any of the following?

1. Rewind/Fast Forward picture from the Pro Control main unit with audio playback muted. (RW/FF don't seem to send MMC commands, scrub/shuttle wheel plays the audio)

2. Shortcut key for Go Back and Play (something that doesn't involve clicking on the Rewind icon, so that it could be programmed as a macro).

3. A way to write automation during pre-roll?

Thanks in advance for any helpful replies.

Matt

Try ctrl+opt+cmd+the rewind button on the pro Control

That will rewind by the roll back amount in the prefs and then start playing

thanks SBP, but my goal is to be able to either assign the go back command to a macro key or to be able to do it with one hand on the Pro Control main unit. holding down two modifier keys and hitting the rewind button is unintuitive IMO.
