Popping on Audio track only.
Hey guys,
Would like some advice if thats o.k. I have had this happen recently and it is very strange, on every audio track i create (for using eleven free guitar), after about a min, i get the strange popping like when you are trying to put the guitar lead in to the guitar...it only lasts about 5 secs but the track goes crazy, then it stops.....a minute later, it starts again. It does not do this on any other tracks apart form an audio track, I can have BFD2 as an instrument track with multi mono and stereo outputs and its fine. Any advice would be awesome, thanks Danny. |

Re: Popping on Audio track only.
Read through all this first:
General Troubleshooting - Pro Tools LE on Windows (even though it say LE, it still applies to PT9. And make sure you do this: Note: To enable other users to help you, please include all of your system details when posting an issue to the DUC; Pro Tools hardware, Pro Tools software version, CPU, OS version, Motherboard make/model, chipset, amount of RAM, type of hard drives used, etc. - Please - Use SiSoftware's Sandra Lite application to generate a full system profile: www.sisoftware.co.uk Under SiSoftware Sandra, click on "Download & Buy" to download the free Sandra Lite version or purchase other versions. After installing Sandra, click on the 'Hardware' tab and run the 'Computer Overview', then copy and paste into your post here on the DUC. Hopefully with a little more info about your system you can get a solution.

Re: Popping on Audio track only.
Hi mate, thank you for the help pages etc, I found out that it was my pci wireless network card that I have installed. I disabled it and the sounds gone away. I thought it was something recent that changed and I recently bought a new one in replacment to my old one that wasnt very good. Thanks again, Danny.
