Eleven Rack - Post Your Tracks/Songs Here

Ok so a few of you guys might remember me, i talked about mixing with the "eleven rack" the guitar sounding too thin and problems working with it on cubase.
Now i have tried a new approach and i need your opinions, i won't tell you what i've done diffrently but tell me if anything sounds out of place for you or your general opinion of the mix.

Hey man, I really like this a lot. The only thing I would say is it is lacking a tad on the high end. Although I am not listening to it with ideal speakers. Either way it sounds killer. Keep it up!

For some odd reason i keep adding high treq because people say i lack them (i'm using studio headphones that boost low-mids a tad) and it's never enough . . i just don't want a piercing guitar !

Do you mean the music to the trailer is "crap" and that the movie itself is "crap"? If you find the music 'crap' then what is it that you don't like?

If you are referring to the movie itself than I agree it pretty much is crap . Firstly because the acting is substandard and not really conveying the emotions of the characters in a believable way and shot terribly.

The music itself I don't have a problem with I thought it was a very good fit with what was on screen, well played - and extremely well produced .

I had a blast writing for this trailer and thanks to all that watched! =)

I have only had the opportunity to do a few things for film/tv and wow is it much harder than it looks. Not only do you really have to think of how the music will accompany and accent the scene, but you also have to worry about the arrangement and mix so that its not too distracting and takes away from the scene. Cause lets be real, unfortunatly its all about the scene, not the music going on behind it lol =( Luckly for me, this movie is about the rise and fall of a "rock star" so i got to cram as much music into the trailer and film as possible lol

Anyway, just wanted to share one of my film projects that i did with the 11R, more to come!!!
