still 9093 and related DAE buffersize errors
Hey guys I'm still having more 9093 and 9129 and 8086 messages (about audio processing conflicting with other CPU tasks and the system holding interrupts too long), then I deem ok to work smoothly with protools LE 7.1 on an Mbox2 on a HP laptop (sandra report below) with Windows XP
disabled fontsmoothing, shadow options, hardware acceleration, (which made the problem occur less frequently) DEP is disabled, Network adaptors are disabled, the inbuilt soundcard is disabled The processor scheduling is set to background services and system cache the colours are 16 bit all USB roothubs are set to never being disconnected to save energy DMA is enabled on all channels I have the primary IDE Channel driver installed I have Intel(R)82801G (ICH Family) Ultra ATA storage Controllers - 27DF installed I have the Intel(R) 82801GBM SATA AHCI Controller installed I tried disabling multi-core support, which made me unable to run even microsoft word smoothly, and which only sped up the error messages occuring in PTLE disabling SATA only messes my computer up I went to the site where SPKGuitar said there was a hotlink for dual core processors, but it was about AMD processors and I have Intel, I've been looking for a possible hotlink for Intel dual cores, but didn't find one that's about all I can think of regarding to my configuration here's the sandra report, hope anyone knows what I can do to get rid of these darn buffersize errors well, greets everyone Evert SiSoftware Sandra System Host Name : EVERTBOGAERT User : Evert Workgroup : WORKGROUP Processor Model : Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2400 @ 1.83GHz Speed : 1.83GHz Performance Rating : PR6218 (estimated) Cores per Processor : 2 Unit(s) Threads per Core : 1 Unit(s) Type : Mobile, Dual-Core Internal Data Cache : 2x 32kB Synchronous, Write-Thru, 8-way set, 64 byte line size L2 On-board Cache : 2MB ECC Synchronous, ATC, 8-way set, 64 byte line size, 2 threads sharing Mainboard Bus(es) : PCI PCIe PCMCIA CardBus USB FireWire/1394 i2c/SMBus MP Support : 1 Processor(s) MP APIC : No System BIOS : Hewlett-Packard 1.06 System : Hewlett-Packard HP Pavilion dv8000 (RE348EA#UUG) Mainboard : Hewlett-Packard 30A6 Total Memory : 2GB DDR2-SDRAM Chipset 1 Model : Hewlett-Packard Company 955XM/945GM/PM/GMS/940GML Express Processor to DRAM Controller Front Side Bus Speed : 4x 305MHz (1220MHz data rate) Total Memory : 2GB DDR2-SDRAM Memory Bus Speed : 4x 305MHz (1220MHz data rate) Video System Monitor/Panel : Standaardbeeldscherm Monitor/Panel : Standaardbeeldscherm Monitor/Panel : Plug en Play-monitor Adapter : NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 Physical Storage Devices Hard Disk : HTS541010G9SA00 (93GB) Hard Disk : HTS541010G9SA00 (93GB) CD-ROM/DVD : HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4084N (CD 24X Rd, 24X Wr) (DVD 3X Rd, 3X Wr) Logical Storage Devices OS (C:) : 84GB (72GB, 85% Free Space) (NTFS) HP_RECOVERY (E:) : 7.8GB (1.2GB, 15% Free Space) (FAT32) DATA (D:) : 93GB (92GB, 98% Free Space) (NTFS) OFFICE10 (F:) : 150MB (CDFS) Peripherals Serial/Parallel Port(s) : 1 COM / 0 LPT USB Controller/Hub : Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB Universal Host Controller - 27C8 USB Controller/Hub : Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB Universal Host Controller - 27C9 USB Controller/Hub : Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB Universal Host Controller - 27CA USB Controller/Hub : Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB Universal Host Controller - 27CB USB Controller/Hub : Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) USB2 Enhanced Host Controller - 27CC USB Controller/Hub : USB-hoofdhub USB Controller/Hub : USB-hoofdhub USB Controller/Hub : USB-hoofdhub USB Controller/Hub : USB-hoofdhub USB Controller/Hub : USB-hoofdhub USB Controller/Hub : USB Composite Device USB Controller/Hub : Digidesign Mbox 2 Firmware Updater FireWire/1394 Controller/Hub : Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller PCMCIA/CardBus Controller : Texas Instruments PCIxx12 Cardbus Controller Keyboard : Standaardtoetsenbord (101/102 toetsen) of Microsoft Natural PS/2-toetsenbord Keyboard : HID-toetsenbordapparaat Mouse : Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad Mouse : HID-compliant muis Human Interface : HP Quick Launch Buttons Human Interface : HID-compliant apparaat Human Interface : USB-HID Communication Device(s) Device : HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP Power Management AC Line Status : On-Line Battery No 1 : 100% Operating System(s) Windows System : Microsoft Windows XP/2002 Home 5.01.2600 (Service Pack 2) Network Services Network Drivers Enabled : No Performance Tips Notice 5901 : CD 1x= 150kB/s; Exercise caution when comparing measured versus published ratings.
