Is this really the top ten? Is this from IdeaScale?

Some of these are silly. I hope they're voted down.

Word is he got banned, or got a time out, or a spanking, or all of the above.

He doesn't show as banned but his last post was #218 in this thread a week ago. So I'm betting on he got a warning AND a time out.

Or they didn't bother with putting "banned" under his name.

There's no way he'd be silent this long unless he had to be.

BIG loss - unlike the occasional "stalker" types on here whose emails you skip past to read the useful stuff, he always had interesting things to say whether you agree with them or not. I never heard him say anything that broke any rules so I hope that's not what happened. That is, I hope they're not just silencing people who say things they don't like or don't want said out loud (which they specifically claim they don't).

No it is a welcome break, not a big loss, the endless "sky is falling" posts were getting very repetitive. And all the "I have a secret friend" stuff was just plain silly, and hopefully he and Waves see the dangers now of having somebody being an unofficial/unintended/accidental spokesperson for a company. If Waves want to talk to the Avid community here they should man up and do so directly. Hopefully he will be back in future to contribute constructively.

Darryl
