Default Weird Mix Problem

I´m usually bouncing out mixes and re-import them into my session - now I noticed that when I´m playing both my bounce and my session (all routed to main outs!) I can hear a pretty obvious delay.. why that? I have some 2 bus processing but I thought as long as dleay comp is green everything is fine..?
thx for your help

Master Faders (for audio outputs, not busses) aren't compensated for in PT. They can't be since they are "outside" the PT mixer.

Let me derail the post by asking why you bounce your mixes out of PT and then import them back into the session?

Simply route everything through a final aux track and route the output of that aux to a final audio track. Print your mix to the final audio track.

If you do several final mixes, the clip bin keeps a nice list of all your mixes available to drag or export. Plus, every mix you do always lives within the PT session, meaning no more lost mixes. Plus, you can punch in on the final mix audio track for revisions, consolidate the punch area into another final mix... Et voila!

Oh, yeah. No delay or compensation problems with this method that I've encountered.

Yeah, OK. But I still have to listen to the final mix as I print it.

I don't trust the offline bounce for critical stuff.
