Default HELP! The External Clock source is invalid, Reverting to Internal.

Someone please help me. I am running my digi 003 directly to my MacBook Pro with a firewire 400 to 800 cable. Sometimes it will work perfectly fine, but then sometimes this error "The External Clock source is invalid, Reverting to Internal." will pop up, and it keeps popping up over and over. I'm not running an external clock source and in my hardware setup it's already selected on Internal. I've reinstalled pro tools, and it worked fine at first, then messed up again. Does anyone know how I can fix this??

Thank you.
