Default Midi TO audio Help

I cant figure out how to convert my midi tracks to audio..I can record and playback midi no problem but i cant get a signal to record my audio tracks????

You'll need to give a lot more detail before we can help you.

For starters, what kind of MIDI devices are you triggering? How are they connected? How do you monitor them?

This is such a common question... Does other software, like maybe logic, make this task a one button operation or something? It seems that many users have some kind of incorrect preconceived notion of what MIDI is...

Well, Logic does a quick offline bounce of instrument track to audio, and in Logic 9 there's a drum-replacer type tool, but I think some of these questions are coming from a lack of understanding in general, especially when using hardware synths that have to be patched in.

Sorry I'm using motif xs and m3. I'm using two aux tracks to monitor each keyboard signal. My problem is recording those two aux tracks to two audio tracks.how should my inputs be on the audio tracks.

Exactly the same as the AUX tracks. Just replace the AUX tracks with AUDIO tracks and record. Once that is done, then you can(if you want) hide and make inactive the midi tracks(just to keep the desktop clean).

see thats the thing i did that.I set the inputs the same as the aux tracks.The weird thing is i get signal sometimes and other times no signal thats why i asked the question...Now im getting signal>>>>may be its a bug in pro tools 8.0..I have to mute the aux tracks then un mute them to get signal to my audio tracks<<weird>>thanks
