MIDI Import (not retaining original midi channels)
I have a question regarding Protools LE 6.1
When I import a midi file into Protools the original MIDI channel numbers are not retained. In other words, if I take an exported 'Type 1' midi file (from Cubase SX) and import it into Protools I have to manually re-assign each original midi track to the proper midi channel. Is this a known issue, working as designed or is there a step that I am neglecting to do? Thanks in advance! ------------------------ www.streetchemistry.com |
