I'm thinking that way too. Not seen much "thanks for the investment loyalty" for my 20k HD system. Seems Avid like to reward people who spend considerably less (LE owners etc)..wierd.

i bought PTHD2 thinking to have something pro, but now an M-box owner is a pro like me so? (i just bought it with 2009 60% discount givem' back a 003rack)
i will stay with this set up waiting for Apogee will be out with a new 16 tracks converter, i will pass version 10 and probably 11, for me the upgrade from version 8 will be 2000 probably, and with that money in audio gear you can get something REALLY PROOOOO!!!
