Default RTAS to TDM Upgrade?

i have a question, i'm thinking about transitioning to pro tools hd, and was wondering if digidesign offers a RTAS to TDM plugin upgrade.

i own lots of digi stuff (producers factory pro, strike, velvet, ect) does anybody know if they do?

AFAIK, Digi does not do that, but most 3rd party companies welcome the extra money you would be willing to throw at them.

Note that Digi will give you "a HDpack" if you buy the HD core system new. Also, the new VI plugs are RTAS-only so you don't have to worry about those...

If your plugins are running fine in RTAS on LE then they will do the same in HD. I would say do not even worry about getting TDM-specific versions except for those that may really bog your system down.

Besides, unless you are getting quite a few accel cards, your TDM processing will be used up with mixer routing, misc DSP and the few TDM plugins that do come standard.

I have a Waves TDM Gold native which I can upgrade to Platinum to transfer for you. I'm in the opposite position. I want to go native.
