Exporting Midi - "Location Reference" Option Greyed Out...sometimes...

Hey there.

I've noticed lately that some of my midi PT sessions differ when I go to export the midi files.

Sometimes the "Location Reference" option is greyed out - and sometimes it lets me select "Session Start, Song Start etc...."

On PT 12.4.0

Any ideas why this occurs?

my Location Reference is Greyed Out as well .. not sure but i cannot get it Un-Greyed Out . i have tried a few things but nothing changes it here .. i am on 12.4 too ..

After a bit more investigating - I think I figured it out...

If the midi session starts at the exact beginning of the session - then the options will appear in the "Location Reference" section.

If the midi files start elsewhere - then no options appear...

Moving the midi files to the beginning of the session reactivates the "Location Reference" options...

Well.....maybe not....

Can't make this work consistently...

Hi, just liked to share the solution I found. If you don't Move Song Start location preference always will be greyed out. Changing the session's start will let you do that.
