Default Midi Edit Problems

When I try to record midi (or delete notes) on an instrument track that already has midi notes on it. The last notes before the edit starts, ( a delete or record edit ) continues to play. I 'm running the newest 8 core mac pro, and all the latest versions of everything. Digi 02 is the interface. I been thru the troubleshooting page.
AnY help would be appreciated.

Kevin

It appears it is just with sessions that where started under an earlier version of PT. *sigh*

thanks for the suggestion, learned about that already. It appears that it is just one older session from a previous version of ptle that is corrupt for some reason.. I went the long way before I figured out it was just the one.

I still have permission errors on my HD after running the disk permission repair utility from the boot cd. So far it does not seem to be causing any problems.. I can't decided if I should reinstall the OS and PTle80cs3 again. ( I installed the 10.7 os upgrade againand PTLE8 was removed and installed again..
I guess I will wait a day or so and see. I only moved to the mac about a month ago.

thanks for your response..

Kevin

Hi Kevin

Personally I'd get back to a known working configuration and recover that session.
