Unreliable connection with Artist Mix

i just bought a used artist mix. am on a mac pro running the most recent pro tools hd 10 and the most recent mountain lion. The artist mix works great under logic, but in pro tools it only works in a very limited mannar, and only for around 10 seconds before the connection is lost. Is there anything i can try?

Make sure you have no firewall... Write tech support and wait a long time.
