Default Multichannel tracks?

So, from what I reckon', there's no multichannel tracks above stereo in PTLE/MP. This is too bad, because I do some stereo work with mic techniques like Decca that takes up three channels. Some crazy stuff takes four channels.
It would be nice to have on one track instead of three that are grouped together... Digi?

Edit: Oh, and by the way; where's the feature suggestion link?

If you read up on creating and using groups, you may find what you need. I do M/S and really have no problems with it. There is a surround plugin for LE available from a 3rd party but the name escapes me right now. If you google protools LE surround or 5.1 you may find it.

Yes, of course I know about grouping tracks together. I'm just saying that I think the group workflow is more of a workaround. You would agree that it's easier to have a dedicated multichannel track, yes?

The PTLE/MP surround plug is called Mix 51 from Neyrinck Audio (http://www.neyrinck.com/Pages/mix51.html), but it's not related to what I want to do, though... Thanks anyway!
