Default Firewire isn't supported by my MacBook... Answers?

My brand spanking new MacBook Retina doesn't have a firewire port so I can't plug my even newer Mbox Pro into it... I need to find out which thunderbolt convertor to buy tomorrow before I leave town since I'm recording Saturday night. Please let me know which one to get and call out anyone who provides faulty info. Thank you so much and hope to hear form you soon.

Actually, you need two things. The $29 Apple Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter, and then any standard Firewire 800 to 400 cable.

Apple is trying to hold a tight reign on who makes thunderbolt accessories and adapters, so they should all be similar and have similar performance.
