Bug: S1 jumps back to Panning (Cubase / Nuendo)
Hello,
I found a bug with the current version of EuControl (2023.6.0.103) and Cubase / Nuendo: When editing the "Quick Controls" by pushing and holding the "Aux" button on the S1, it automatically jumps back to "Pan" when selecting different track. This is very annoying and makes it almost impossible to edit access and edit the Quick Controls. Please fix this! |

it's possible to change this behaviour in Eucon>General>Function Recall Mode. Select 'None' if you want the quick controls to be global. |

The Quick Controls now stay open when switching between channels, but the faders don't work properly. On the initial channel, everything is working fine, but once I switch to a different channel and move the faders, the values aren't transferred to the DAW and the faders snaps back to their initial value once I let go. One problem solved, another one created |

I'm not experiencing that here in N12 (Windows 10).
Might be worth checking there are no automation points drawn on the corresponding Nuendo project channel. |

Re: Bug: S1 jumps back to Panning (Cubase / Nuendo)
I did some further tests and this definitely is a bug. This is what's happening:
- blank new project with not automation data so far - selecting track 1 in Nuendo - enabling quick controls on the S1 and moving the faders -> everything is working fine as expected - selecting a different track in Nuendo -> everything is working fine as expected - switching back to track 1 -> faders snap back to their previous values even though no automation is enabled or has been written - selecting a different page on the S1 (e.g. Pan) - switching back to quick controls on the S1 -> everything is working fine again I recorded a video of this behaviour: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13cY...usp=share_link So it seems like switching tracks with "Function Recall Mode" set to "None" in the EuControl settings somehow bricks the quick controls function on the S1. PS: I upgraded to 2023.11, but that didn't fix the problem. |

Hi VSAudioDesign,
maybe this is another EuCon bug on Steinbergs side. Can you please report this in this thread https://forums.steinberg.net/t/eucon-update/140985 on the Steinberg forum? thanks |
