Command 8 Fader Issue

I have had a recent major issue with my Command 8 rendering it useless. Regarding the faders, they almost seem to have a mind of their own.

Outline of the issue:

It beings after I turn on the Command 8 and it initializes. They faders go through what I can only assume is a normal start up process of going up and down, but they never go down. The motors keep revving, and the faders keep attempting to travel upwards, even though there is nowhere to go. It gets louder as the motors grind away, and it never stops.

I have tried a couple popular troubleshooting responses:
-uninstalling and reinstalling the latest firmware. System info in the F1Utility says 02.01.02

-Going into Utility and recalibrating the faders.

Neither has worked. This is a great control surface, but with without control of the faders for automation and leveling it is basically useless. Someone help me out here please.

Open the Command 8 detach the faders from the motors then reattach this should solve the issue I had this once and now mine is fine :)

I know its probably been a while, but do you remember how you did that? I just wanna have some basic idea of what I'm doing before I go poking around inside in case I manage to damage something else.

Just unscrew the bottom plate when inside just pull the connector of the fader its really easy :)
