Default Nasty error every time I try to quit.

Has anyone seen this or know what it means?

--

Could not complete your request because Neo
Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/vb_cliff/
AlturaPorts/SDKs/Neo61/Libraries/Macintosh/
Environments/Alone/../../../../Source/
CNeoIOBlock.cpp", line 164.

--

After I try to quit, I am asked to save and then no matter what, it gives this error and won't quit. If I save, my file will load without any regions the next time. Nasty.

Running PTLE 7.3.1 CS2, Mbox2 on 10.4.9 PPC Powerbook G4.

thanks,
sam.

Thanks, yes, that's effectively what digidesign support told me and it has worked a treat.

If you see a similar error, this may work for you too:

>>>

First, trash following items from Mac HD > users > Home (Your login
account) > Library > Preferences.

-com.digidesign.protools.plist
-DAE Prefs
-Digisetup OSX
-Pro Tools LE 7.x Preferences

Then trash Volumes folder located in Mac HD > Library > Application
Support > Digidesign > Databases.

Trash Digidesign Databases folder on the root level of all the mounted
volume on your system. If you have multiple partitions and/or external
HDD, you have Digidesign Databases folders on all the HDD.

Empty trash and reboot Mac.

wow, through my skimming, I thought for a minute that you were saying to trash the preference folder for your home account (I missed "from"). I'm slowing my heart rate now...
