Pro Tools First is opening file at wrong sample rate
I am trying to get my band to be able to record through PT Projects. I am running PT2020 on Windows 10, my bass player is running PT first on a Windows 10 machine with a Presonus interface.
I recorded a song at 24/44.1 and saved it as a PT Project, uploaded to Avid cloud. I can open the Project on Project on other computers and it opens correctly as a 24/44.1 Project. When the bass player open the PT1 project on his computer, it opens as 24/48 project. His Presonus can be set to 44.1 prior to opening the project - it switches to 48 and the project plays back incorrectly. I am guessing there is something in his Windows 10 sound settings that is making it open at 48, but have not been able to find it. I can change all my files to 24/28 files and do our sessions that way, but it seems rather bizarre that they will open correctly everywhere but the bass player's computer. Any suggestions on getting it to open as a 44.1 file? Last edited by greenmonkey; 09-06-2020 at 02:26 PM. Reason: typo |
