PT 11 not seeing my SYNC I/O
Hey guys, just update to 11 (11.3.1) and after setting the initial prefs it's not seeing my sync IO. What's the deal?

Which Sync Unit are you using? Pic it's the original Sync IO, it won't work with pt11.
It is the sync HD (either blue or grey in colour), you may need to upgrade the firmware - also check that it isn't in 'sync IO compatibility mode', as that will prevent it from working.

Tried to update the firmware keeps saying:
firmware update aborted: couldn't establish communications with the SYNC. Please power cycle it… blah blah blah. Any thoughts?

They blue Sync HD says "HD" on the unit. Yours doesn't, so it must be a Sync IO.

Got a SyncHD (blue) feeding a Big ben. Big ben set to accept WC and sends that to (3) 192's WC in. Had it this way for years now with Sync IO. Now with the HD- I set it to internal, 96K, 30FPS (non-drop) and set the 192's to accept WC. It works great. The second I enable the SyncHD in the peripherals menu, it reverts to loop sync and says 96K, but the big ben shows it's getting 70.90
By the time I go into my session @96k the 192's are all messed up. ANYONE?!

Seems to be resolved- had to deselect 'enable dub window' Not sure why that was causing all this chaos, but here we are!
