Visual Countown for ADR/VO timings for talent?
Anyone know a good way to provide visual timings to talent for VO sessions where each read has to fall within a certain time? Our booth has a video tie line and LCD monitor. Are there any products that translate the pro tools timeline into some visual reference that can be fed to the booth?
Thanks, Brian |

There´s also this
http://www.softwarestreamers.com/index.html But it doesn´t auto-backtime like ediprompt and you have to lay-in the midi-regions manually for each cue. But for once in a while it´s OK. Edipropmt is far smarter and does more than Streamers. Mind you all these overlay-streamers need pretty fast CPUs to generate really smooth streamers but for count-downs they work even on rather slow machines. Frank.

Horita also makes a box that you can either trigger at X TC or wire it up to the SYNC I/O and have it triggered by going into record. That's what we have been using and it works like a charm. I think they also make a count down timer that you could insert into the video line and trigger.
