Controlling Send Level of a Battery 3 Cell?
In PT 10 and Battery 3, I can select a cell and then route it to an mono or stereo AUX track. But, is there any way to control the send level of the cell like a normal send track in PT? Right now, I'm sending a kick drum / cell in Battery to an AUX track with reverb on it. It's super quiet with the reverb though, then I have to boost the gain on the kick to get a decent level. It would me much easier if there was a way to control the send levels from the Battery cell to the aux track. Any ideas? :)

Click on the sell to select it, then select master at the bottom, then bottom left, volume. Chris

Re: Controlling Send Level of a Battery 3 Cell?
There is an apparent bug in Battery 3 that even if you set the master output of Battery 3 (which I think would even control cells sent to separate outputs) to something like say 0dB and have a MIDI CC7 of 127 it still resets to a max of -6dB. You can manually reset it to whatever level you want once you hit record or play but it's a pain. This happens even in standalone. I have a thread going on this at the NI forum site - and no replies yet.
And for battery there are actually two volume levels - one for a cell itself which when you click on the cell shows in the lower right of the gui and the master output which is adjustable from two spots - the control at the top of the Battery 3 gui and the one on the master tab at the lower right of the gui. I'm just posting this in relation to the low level and putting an idea out there. Maybe it'll help but who knows? |
