I get an occasional "can't find authorization for Structure content or "can't find Hardware" with ilok 2 but never with ilok1. Everything still runs. I just get the message. Is anyone else noticing ilok2 anomalies?
EDIT: Also I have seen the certain versions of “Slate VCC” bring on errors that appear to be ilok2 related inside of PT. This may be haunting us from the background for a while. If running an ilok2 and you have unexplained assertion errors or no-starts, think about the possibility that ilok2 drivers and technology may not yet be perfect.

I have one session that had an issue with VCC once.. I've since updated VCC a couple of times but every time I open that session, when I close it I get a PT Unexpectedly Shut Down error.
I have to restart the system to get everything working properly again. Only with that one session though.

Tried both types on PCs and MACs
Just thought I'd pass my experiences to everybody
I've got MACs and PCs and both types of ILok, the new type has problems being recognized in BOTH systems The old ILok seems to work fine in both and has never failed So it seems in my case its the second generation ILok and not the software as it fails on both MACS and PCs If I move my new ILok to a different USB port on BOTH MAC and PC it lights up and works fine I'm gonna transfer my 9HD off the new ILok and stick with the old one till this gets resolved......
