Since I'm a huge RME fan, I'll chime in with the 96/8 line, PST version probably. Lists for $570, but I know a place (THANKS Yavuz!!) that sells at a good discount. Need your help fast!
I'm in the process of putting a Gigastudio system together (thanks to Mark Knecht's help)and need to select a sound card to run with it. Do you guys know of any excellent sound cards in the 400 dollar range or so that have at least one optical out and one pair of analog outs? From your suggestions, I'll see if they're compatible with Gigastudio or not.
