Major Windows 8 Cubase 7 Problems

This is day 5 of trying to figure this out. Clean install of Windows 8, all programs are happy except Cubase 7 64x.
Running a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 and have Euphonix Mix, Wheel and Control.
Now I don't know if the Artist series is the problem, could be anything. But wanted to see if other users have a similar set up and are having problems or not. Thanks

troubleshoot it. turn off the controllers and kill eucon, if the problem persists then maybe artist series is not the problem :)
