Re: Waves New PlugIn
I've done work for movies where that plug would have saved hours of screwing around.

Re: Waves New PlugIn
True. Unfortunately, like that Antares Microphone plug, this will also be purchased by folks hoping to turn their $100 mic into a priceless Abbey Road antique.

Re: Waves New PlugIn
I actually thought that was a goof e-mail from Waves. I sort of couldn't believe I was reading it.
I could see how some would benefit but not me. Waves latest offerings are odd to me. Carl

Re: Waves New PlugIn
Will Merc users get this one free? I'm not showing an update in my account..
Not something I would ever buy on it's own, but I like free stuff.. and I do a small bit of V.O. so it may come in handy... C'mon Waves! (When I first heard about it I thought it was one of Elvis' mic's, when I saw it, I thought it might be Liberace's)

I was about to ask the same question do I get it for free under my mercury bundle? That is why we pay for mercury to get everything and the TLC coverage

Re: Waves New PlugIn
Nope. I think since it's an Abbey Road collaboration, it's a similar situation with the SSL. Which makes the whole thing that much more baffling...

I get used to freebies.. that was the nice part about the Merc, Studio Classics bundle... I got everything. Now with the price-drops and plugs that aren't included.. I'm thinking that the fun of being a mercury owner might be drawing to a close... Alas... woe is me.. I only have 200 plugs to play with.. What ever will I do without this one... How can I live... must have plug.. must have plug.. Where's my lawyer?
