seriously no, you have a point. but it has always been an ongoing battle; whether they give away too much HD perks the Vanilla folks are angry and vice versa.

Yes, that's what I want Not a squared off signal but something a bit more analog (with a bit of variation). With the added dynamic range we all have to work in Spotify/iTunes, smashing every transient to 0.0 isn't necessary or indeed ever desirable.

Of course, the peaks only clip if they are beyond full scale. As it is I try and keep the master and busses below 0dB before AND after processing. Sure, we have fancy maths now but I come from the old TDM

Hey guys, I activated the 2 free plugins. The liscences are in my iLok. Where do I download the 2 plugins? I checked my download section and they say I have to link an account. Saw nothing there. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

They are added to my.avid.com/products so you can click on either one then click Show to see the downloads.

I am on Vanilla perpetual and I really liked having the whole plugin bundle and support plan for 99 usd. My understanding is (now that I renewed) I now have perpetual licenses for pro comp and pro limiter, which is cool since I had them in the bundle, but I honestly would have preferred the bundle w/out perpetual for the comp/limiter as I use many of the other plugins in the bundle also. My 2c. I guess I will have to do the bundle sub as well

I updated 2 vanilla pro tools in October. Am I entitled to the plugins? If I am, they're still not in my downloads
