Default Turning on/off track assign on Artist Control

Is there a way to program a soft key on the Control to toggle track assigns on and off? I'd like to be able to have my 4 Control faders assigned to mic inputs when recording but also be able to toggle them off and back on again. As far as I can tell the only thing I can assign the soft keys to are items in Pro Tools, not EuCon. Is this correct? This would be a very handy thing to have…

If I understand your question correctly, you can assign layouts to your soft keys. One will have your 4 mic faders, the other will be "cleared out" with all faders set to auto-assigned.

Hmm, I can't get that to work. Track assigns to the surface are done in the EuCon app, not Pro Tools. However, when you're in Pro Tools, if you try to program the soft keys the EuCon app does not switch to the EuCon menu pull downs, it stays in Pro Tools.

Avid, any thoughts here?

Thanks,

MM
