MTRX Studio Output Analog Level Specs Discrepancy

I'm seeing a discrepancy between the MTRX Studio's analog line ins and outs in terms of headroom. Can anyone confirm I'm interpreting this correctly?

The manual:

ANALOG LINE INPUT:
MAX INPUT LEVEL: Adjustable from 9dBu to 24 dBu in 0.1dB steps

ANALOG LINE OUTPUT:
MAX OUTPUT LEVEL: Adjustable from -60 to 24 dBu in 0.1dB steps (I think this refers to the monitor outs only)
MAX OUTPUT LINE LEVEL: Adjustable from -60 to 18 dBu in 0.1dB steps
MAX OUTPUT LEVEL MONITOR: Adjustable from -60 to 24 dBu in 0.1dB steps

So hang on, the line input level is capable of 24dBu (20dB of headroom above 0VU—good), but the line level output is only 18dBu (14dB of headroom above 0VU) ?!

I don't care about the monitor outs, I want to have the same headroom going in as going out, across every analog channel.

The specifications in the manual are a bit confusing, but here's how it works:

The max. output level on the Monitor output can be set between -60 and +24 dBu.

The max. output level on the LINE outputs can be set within either of these ranges:
-66 to +18 dBu
or
-60 to +24 dBu
The range is selected in DADman where you can see a "6dB gain" button. This setting affects all LINE outputs simultaneously.

I have attached two screenshots which show the two ranges.

So you can certainly set the max. LINE output level to +24 dBu.

While I have your attention, can you tell me, or point me to an explanation of how the converters in the MTRX and the MTRX Studio differ?
