Default suggestions on plug in for special effects

Can anyone recommend a plug in for PTools 6.4 (TDM) OS 10.3 that will give me the special effects, such as a reel to reel gradually speeding up?

D-Fi bundle. "Vari-Fi" AS plug in, for speed up and speed down. Pretty cool on my opinion.

I'm actually looking for the effect of audio playing at normal speed, then changing to high speed audio as if the tape is now speeding up....too fast.

As I said for speeding up veri-fi and for remaining at the higher speed use pitch/time shift plug in.
You'll need some editing and crosfading as well.
There are many other ways to do so...just use your immagination...

Hello Agus,

The previous suggestion isn’t wrong, but it suffers from some limitations. VariFi will create a smooth ramping up or down of any selected region, but these will always go from “a complete stop” to nominal playback speed or vice-versa, respectively.

Two plug-ins that give the user far more control and a graphical interface to control the speed variations are Pitch ’n Time Pro, by Serato, and SoundShifter, by Waves. They both sound great.

IHTH.
