Default Can I DOWNGRADE 6.1.1->5.3.1

I bought an Audiomedia III card, bought a 6.1 upgrade and got my self a new hard drive and XP. Have been using PTFree And was happy when I discovered this budget solution But I can`t seem to bounce things; it stops after a few seconds. And other issues. I only have a PIII 450 Dell 384MB ram. Can`t afford to upgrade my computer just now.. Done all the tweaks XP Pro can handle, and things like hard drive speed is good. When I bought the AM III, it only had 5.0.1 for Mac in the box (it had been doing its thing in a G4) and he had downloaded 5.0.1 for Win98. But Can`t I down grade to 5.3.1 any one?
