Absolutely! But Josh, easy does it. It's not all the time that everyone has enough to do all one has to do. Pedro is faced with a choice of priority. Many of us face such issues...All he's asking is how other people handle this particular issue.

Not taking sides here, and PT is my DAW of choice. However, Avid hasn't been pulling their weight of late. Their performance is most definitely complaint-worthy, especially considering the fact that the DAW was rock-solid before we started paying yearly fees. One would expect things to be even better now, no?

Maybe we should also introduce a groan-zone here? I think maybe 80% of us would from time to time let off steam there and leave other threads for more constructive interchange...

well, i have been keeping current with Avid, and current with WAVES so i could use my plugins with DigiGrid .. otherwise i might not have up'd my WUP ..

this is the new way things are going .. try working with Adobe !!! game over .. Slate is going that way, etc ..

we all have our feelings and opinions about WUP's and Subscriptions .. i am not going to discount anyones gripes !!

But you actually save on both sides of subscription once you park Avid, you won't have to pay WUP either.

Which is one of the PRO's about going back with a Windows OS. They have a much larger "Window" of compatibility compared to Apples hot mess.
