Default Printing auxes... What am I doing wrong?

Hi there,

I have a Pro Tools template setup to record stems from other DAWS (Logic, Live). The session records the drums, bass, pads*stems*etc on separate*tracks. *I then use buses to send audio from those stems to others tracks to create submixes such as NoDrums, Underscore etc. *All works well. However, my question is instead of bouncing out the submixes through the master bus one by one, I'd like to record those submixes back into PT. *So my*questions is*how can I record those submixes after the mix bus? *I can record the full mix back into Pro tools*but haven't*got my head*round doing the submixes like that. *
Thanks!
Jam.

Try using the Track Commit feature on the AUX track

Hi - I don't think my post was detailed properly. I'm trying to avoid soloing everything one by one and bouncing them.

A case for not doing a bunch of master processing Depending on the purpose of the stems, that may be preferred.

JJ.
I posted my stems print method in this thread:

Stems pre-mix-bus, vs Stems post-mix-bus
