If it's a 2 hour feature you're listening to, well you can't listen to it a billion times faster, you listen to it in real time. Okay so maybe you can offline bounce a 200+ track 5.1 film in a 2 seconds using this new flower vase with the extra 3-5K in extra peripherals. I don't think this will make it a life changing moment.

But I could be wrong, just my 2 cents

Unless you're working a lot with VIs maxing out RAM to 64GB won't really help you performance wise. Actually CPU is key here, that's were you're plugins play ball. More CPU-power = bigger sessions.

Other than that I totally agree with what you said.
