PT 10.3.3 crash AFTER I quit Pro tools!
Almost every time I work with VI's in Pro tools HDX 10.3.3.. and close the program, I get this message that Pro Tools crashed unexpectedly.
Can any of you guys figure this report out? Is there any obvious reason why it crashes AFTER I quit protools? I can not post the entire crash report :/ .. but here is the first part, and the last part of it: Process: Pro Tools [3529] Path: /Applications/Avid/*/Pro Tools.app/Contents/MacOS/Pro Tools Re: PT 10.3.3 crash AFTER I quit Pro tools!
Hi,
Most likely a VI, could be as it unloads sounds from ram or as it tries to save before closing. Try loading the session holding shift to open with plugins deactivated, then try closing the session, then reactivate VIs one at a time and try closing until you find the VI causing the quits. Also dimm memory 6 looks like it could not be working! If the problem continues I would try removing dimms 5 and 6 and see if that helps. Chris

Re: PT 10.3.3 crash AFTER I quit Pro tools!
Check that that all your VIs and other plugins are absolutely up to date (all of them, even if they are not instantiated).
If the Pro Tools .dlog trace files made it out before the crash they may be useful for Avid support in debugging this. ~/Library/Logs/Avid/.. see if there was a file created for this crash. If the crash still happens after you have tried other stuff, Avid support will probalby want to see those .dlog files. Darryl |

Re: PT 10.3.3 crash AFTER I quit Pro tools!
I think it has to do with some 3rd party plugin in you plugins folder.
I had the same problem until I removed all my RTAS VIs and Flux Mix Bundle |
