Default How do I do non-destructive midi recording?

Hi,

I've only done midi track recording a couple times and haven't figured out how to set up midi recording like non-destructive audio recording. Would someone tell me if it's possible and how I set up PTHD to save each pass of recording to a new midi track instead of writing and replacing the old one?

thank you,
Steve

Hey Steve-

Put each one in a different playlist, do this by clicking the little up down arrow to the right of the track name in the edit window.

Also if you are looking at the midi in regions view instead of piano roll you can punch a segment and the slip editing will retain what was already there.
