I'm in the same boat. I'm all ears. If anyone's heard the heavy use of vocoding on Shiny Toy Guns - "The Weather Girl", I'd be curious to hear anyone's guess on their method.

Orange Vocoder from www.prosoniq.com is really cool. They are working on Intel Versions of their Plugs
now to be ready ´later this year´. Theres also a limted standalone demo.

Buying Orange RTAS is a bit on the shaky at the moment.

Yeah, I've looked at Vokator before. But I don't know. There's something very thin about it to me. I wish the Orange product was more reliable with the updates. I really dig the sound & layout of that plug.

i'm biased as i'm part of the group by at the moment (which hasn't finished yet by the looks of it, as the numbers have gone up even from yesterday), but take a look at it. Extremely cool vocoder indeed.
