Basic question re: markers/playback
What do I need to do to have the playback cursor go back to a certain spot after I've stopped playback? For example: If I start playback at measure 10 and listen for a few measures, how do I set up pt so that once I stop play back, the playback cursor returns to measure 10 and when I click play again, that's where it will begin?
Currently, I stop playback and when I start again, it just takes off from where I left off. thanks. |

Re: Basic question re: markers/playback
If (a...z) is selected in your edit window just press "n".
Or in Preferences go to Operation and uncheck 'Timeline Insertion Follows Playback' Hope it helps, Timothy |

Re: Basic question re: markers/playback
Or put your cursor to a point you will always start from, then press "SHIFT+/" or "SHIFT+-" or uncheck the "Link Timeline and Edit Selection"-button.
Now pressing space will always play from that position. No matter where you put your cursor. If - in this mode - you want to listen to a different section, but don't want to lose the start point, press 0 on your numeric pad. Thought you might like that one. Timothy |
