Default Basic question re: markers/playback

What do I need to do to have the playback cursor go back to a certain spot after I've stopped playback? For example: If I start playback at measure 10 and listen for a few measures, how do I set up pt so that once I stop play back, the playback cursor returns to measure 10 and when I click play again, that's where it will begin?
Currently, I stop playback and when I start again, it just takes off from where I left off.

thanks.

If (a...z) is selected in your edit window just press "n".

Or in Preferences go to Operation and uncheck 'Timeline Insertion Follows Playback'

Hope it helps,
Timothy

Or put your cursor to a point you will always start from, then press "SHIFT+/" or "SHIFT+-" or uncheck the "Link Timeline and Edit Selection"-button.

Now pressing space will always play from that position. No matter where you put your cursor. If - in this mode - you want to listen to a different section, but don't want to lose the start point, press 0 on your numeric pad.

Thought you might like that one.
