Default Use Typing Keyboard as MIDI Controller in Pro Tools MP 9

How do I setup my regular "Typing Keyboard" as a MIDI Controller in Pro Tools MP 9? I am using the Fast Track C400 as an interface.

Thanks,
Chris

You don't. And you likely don't want to since there would be no velocity information. Go buy an external MIDI keyboard or controller.

No you don't. You just think you do.

There have been utilities that provide this but they suck and I'm not sure they are around any more.

How about saying what you are trying to do exactly (keyboard VI, drum VI, ?), your budget, etc. (does it need to be highly portable) and and have folks recommend a MIDI keyboard/controller.

I agree^^^ If you need midi notes, it will be faster to use the mouse and drop notes on the piano roll, or use any cheap midi controller. My solution for organ(DB-33) was an old Ensoniq Mirage keyboard I found for $50
