Default Firewire Laptop PCMCIA Card recommendations

I have a single firewire port on my laptop, and would like my audio drive and 002 to run on seperate buses. I think a PCMCIA Firewire card would accomplish this. Do you guys have some current recommendations? A card that can do the new 1394b (800 Mbps) standard would be preferable if it's not way more expensive.

A couple of other items are a power conditioner and a rack (4 space). I was going to pickup a $50 furman conditioner and an SKB rack, but thought you boys might have other ideas? Is it necessary to have a highend power conditioner or does a simple furman rack rider do the job?

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
