Default CLICK TRACK-How to create?

OK. here's a newbee question:

How do you make a click track without using any ext. devices?
i just want a tempo guide that i can play to my monitors while recording.

If you have 6.x the click is a mono plugin. Create a mono aux and put the click on insert #1. And push the fader up. That's it. I would say RTFM but hey that's what we are all here for to help and to be helped.
