Default Protools 12.5.2 Workspace suddenly crashes

Hello,
I have been working on Protools HD 12.5.2 (install on MacPro OS 10.9.5) for months without any issues. Today, suddenly, the workspace starts to make Protools crashes. Same drives... Every time i searched something in the workspace, protools crashes. Of course, i have erased all preferences and database. Also tried to upgrade to 12.7. Still issue.
Anyone have an idea?
I am in a middle of a big project...
Many thanks
Simon

There was an issue a repeatable bug that was documented with Avid that was 12.5 they fixed the issue in PT12.5.1

This was when I was on Mac 10.10.5

The problem was fix it for me in PT12.5.1 and Yosemite

Maybe that's why I am still on 12.5.1.

If you have legitimate issues, you should use the support portal to get some specific help from Avid about your problems .

Now that I think about it, is 12.5.2 even qualified to run on Mac 10.9.5?

I guess it is.....

I just had a problem this week, with one session it was crashing consistently

Does your system crash on every session? Or just a few?

How about a new session? Did it crash?

No need to open a session even searching the workspace with no opened session crashes. I am thinking it as something to do with volumes

If it does have to d with the HD volumes then you could Verify and Repair disks in the Disk Utility, assuming that you haven't yet

Did it but still crashes. This afternoon work on one and only system drive and and sound libraries on USB hard drive (before worked on one audio drive and one sound library drive). So far so good for now.

hey i was thinking if you can try this on another system and see how it responds.....

A home computer, a latop or a friends laptop......this would benefit your troubleshooting processes...

Found it !!!! A bad Aaf on serval volumes always crashed each searches... waou so many worries for such a small bug. (I realised it thanks to protools 10 - that installed to test - for which the workspace indicated it was reading the bad Aaf)
