You are not taking your gear on the road, are you?

Sure I am, but I'm using a Macbook Pro with 1TB internally. Would I get a Mac Mini to take on the road along with a keyboard and screen? Probably not, though. But if I did, I don't think a relatively tiny storage device would make the experience significantly worse.

Yes, now. But when you find yourself needing 4TB or 8TB in a couple of years... have to buy another one instead of (then) relatively cheaper storage. But to each their own I guess

I went with the 256GB internal because I don't install sample libraries on my C: drive. I have a separate drive for that. If Pro Tools.exe is a 4TB file in a couple years, I will eat my hat.

I'm getting 6101s when trying to record. It's a bit of a problem.

Working GREAT as a mix rig.

I haven't got time to test some recording sessions. Got a few error and stops when I'm editing to fast though... Probably 'cause ProTools isn't supported yet on Mojave.

Yeah, Mac minis have to Mojave.

Native, with Apollo X.

Totally unsupported-land of course!! I have it all set up along side my current working HD Native setup. But getting ready to switch over to this rig full-time once it's running well.
