Artist Control won't boot, stuck on "Avid" startup screen [SOLVED]

Does anyone know a way to trouble shoot this? I've tried repowering it a million times. The workstation shows up fine and attached in Eucon, but it doesn't see the surface and it remains stuck on the boot up "AVID" on the touch screen. Must be hardware related right? I've got Eucon 3.2.1 on an iMac 10.8.5 running PT 11.

It turned out I needed to disconnect from my router and directly connect to my mac to get it to see the Artist control again. I had recently disconnected an Artist mix which had both units working fine with the router. For some reason I guess when you only have one connected you need to direct connect? Anyway, I post this for the poor sap who is having this problem in the future… cheers.
