AA Translator for Reaper
Just thought i'd help out anyone out there who needs some help working in a reaper/protools system. The dialogue editor for the feature im doing prefers reaper, however, I need to do Sound design to his cut movie. Took a while to figure it out, but AA Translator did a perfect job. Made a PTF version of the file, which i opened in PT10, and then All i had to do was relink the audio to the reaper audio files. Saved copy in and boom, worked great!
Thanks again to the Guys at http://www.aatranslator.com.au/!

Re: AA Translator for Reaper
As Reaper is probably the easiest DAW to learn and is also a free download with a $60 honesty box and AA Translator is pretty cheap, this could be a useful work-around for all those of you stuck with no iLok license.
You would at least be up and running again, until this madness that is iLok has been sorted out. I realise that it does not give you access to your HD and HD-X cards and Eucon support and ADR tools are only coming with version 5, but at least you would be able to work.
