OS10 Mounting SCSI Drives
I just upgraded to OS10 and HD Accel 2 from LE. I already had SCSI set up on my computer so I just installed the new OSX driver and the drives show up and work. They are still not formatted HFS+ but they work. I'm gonna clean them off soon and reformat.
The only way I can get drives to mount is to restart the computer. Is their an app like the old OS9 Atto express pro tools that would allow you to put a drive in the chassis, spin it up and then mount it without restarting? |

Re: OS10 Mounting SCSI Drives
are you using an ATTO card? And OS X 10.3.x?
If so, go to: http://www.digidesign.com/compato/osx/stg/scsi.cfm download new firmware, driver, ATTO disk utilities. Mac OS X 10.2.x will not allow mounting SCSI without rebooting JC |

Re: OS10 Mounting SCSI Drives
Don't know about OS 10.2, but with 10.3.xx you can use this Atto Configuration tool to mount drives without rebooting. You pretty much have to quit Pro Tools to use it though, as it will unmount any mounted drives, and Pro Tools of course won't let you (or another application) drag them from the desktop while running. It should work fine with a UL3D.
