Default Here Goes

Well I've finally plucked up the courage to post something amongst the myriad of great recordings I've been listening to produced by some darn good guitar players here amongst us in this forum.

I have to admit it is a bit of a rambling. I sat down with the new expansion Pack one night and jammed whilst thinking of my alcoholic brother and his battle to overcome his disease. He gave me some good inspiration.

It's a one take track on backing & Lead guitar and I didn't bother to do any post 'patching up' so it's warts and all!

Are you kidding me?

This is great! What a cool song & vibe.......I think it has a Pink Floyd vibe w/ an Alter Bridge twist......

U get the X-Mann seal of approval......That means absolutely nothing, but you get it........& not everybody does......Lol

I wish ur bro luck too........

I'd like some Rig info when u get a chance Z..... I also feel that I'm hearing a Strat too........So....Ah....Yea.....I like it A LOT!

For whatever reason the general vibe reminded me of some of Leslies Wests more laid back stuff with Mountain. I can't even tell you why that is . Which is to say I enjoyed it.

And I was worried you wouldn't get the Leslie West referance. Very old school. Some great stuff that captures some of that smoldering, languid, laid back tone that Leslie would get on the mellow stuff.

As much as people deride late seventies CBS Fender stuff it really has some excellent clean sound's. Its a tone thats specific to that period.

Very nice.
