Holy crizzap that sucked. First off what a set to even call themselves guns and roses when there is only one real member left, granted he is Axl but geez I think my dog could have sung better. He should change his name from Axl Rose to Axl blows.
I guess some things should just remain sacred and to ruin my childhood memories like that was just not cool [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img] . I wonder if he even thinks he sang somewhat in tune! He should have just lipsynched like everyone else. Hey maybe they can just use autotune on future broadcasts [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

I just caught them out here on the west coast, (MTV awards) and do agree with you. I don’t even know how they got that gig. The MTV awards is generally about young fresh acts - who have current hits! Seeing a washed up old rocker trying to relive his past, and playing 20 year old songs, seemed really out of place. I guess I could see it if all the original members got together for a reunion show, but this was pretty sad.

don't forget, axil rose has always sucked live.
that 80's syle of singing sounds totally outdated now adays though.
that factor probably made him sound worse than years ago.

it's like they took 15 top selling artists, and they built the awards show around them. the same nominees for every award. get real.

this year had to be the most suckiest so far.

it has turned into such a joke.

they keep hiring more and more cream puffs in the offices that keep sucking up the whole channel.

it's very very very fruity as of lately.

being positive is for seasame street.

mtv should be raw and wild. thats why it became popular in the first place.

now everything is so predictable and safe.

if they gave me a position of importance in the mtv offices here is what i would change:

I WOULD:

* fire all the pansies, and politically correct people that work there.

* make sure kurt loder's mechanical parts are working good, so he can be around another 20 years or so.

* bring back kennedy to make fun of the artists, and also to help out kurt loder.

* bring back tom green to conduct live segments from the streets.

* take off eminem, nsync, britney, carson daly, etc... and make them rely on nickalodeon for a paycheck.

* bring back "headbangers ball".

* bring back "amp" to feature more techno and electronic artists

* bring back " the grind" - but make it way more sexy, by gettin the best camera angles.

* create an underground artists show, for all the different underground genres like industrial, goth, hardcore, real gansta rap etc......

* show alot more hot girls competing in wet tshirt contests and such, on a daily basis.

i'm sure i would do alot more, but that's just for starters. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

This was the best post ever. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who this the music these days sucks!

SHAKIRA, [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] OH MY GOD, tell me some of you saw her sings, that's the finest womman making music today. Oh and yeah GNR totally blew! Did anyone notice the production looked weird, like it was too clean. The edits too perfect. It didn't look live, My girlfriend and I both noticed that, it looked weird. But All i have to say is Shakira whenever wherever!
