On extracting Chroma, I get this WinRAR Message: “The file is corrupt”

I get the same message when I use 7-Zip instead of WinRAR

I’ve emailed In Session Audio and advised this.

I’ve also queried the 4.5GB size – as my extracted files = 291MB.

(PS - tried to re-download, but my "limit" prevented this)

(Problem my end: poor Internet connection)

Re-downloaded all 3 parts – right-clicked part 1 and chose “Extract Here” - this extracted all 3 parts into a Folder called “Chroma – In Session Audio”, which I placed in my “User Libraries” Folder:
STEAM\SAGE\SAGE Libraries\User Libraries


All 4.56 GB present and accounted for!

Where to place the Stylus RMX loops

To use the loops, place the folder titled "Chroma - In Session Audio" into Stylus RMX’s User Libraries folder.

On Vista and Windows 7, the folder path is: C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\SAGE\SAGE Libraries\User Libraries

Note: The ProgramData folder is normally a hidden file. To "Show Hidden Files"
go to the Start Menu/Control Pane/Appearance and select Folder Options/View tab.
Select the "Show Hidden Files and Folders" option and hit "Apply".

On Mac, the folder path is:
Macintosh HD/Users/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics/SAGE/SAGE Library/User Libraries

Note: The Library on Lion 10.7 and up is hidden. To access it,
in the Finder go to the “Go” menu and hold down the Option (Alt) key; the
Library folder will then appear as a choice.

I'd like to buy that Stylus RMX but it is so damned expensive. I haven't yet seen seen it for sale at a big discounted price either like you often see with other V.I's that regularly go on sale way below their usual full marked price.

It's only the Time Designer, side of things in Stylus RMX that appeals to me . I wish that time designer (with it's change signature feature and it's groove lock feature) was a plugin on it's own right.
I don't often use many loops in my music, so I can't justify paying for it's high price tag .., but I can see you guys who always use lots of loops, or who specialise in EDM getting more value out of Stylus than I would.

I was lucky enough to buy my Stylus RMX 2nd-hand/used, so I thought I’d explain the “process”.

Spectrasonics will only transfer a license once, from the original owner, for a US$50 fee, payable by the Buyer/2nd-Owner.

This is how it normally happens:

Buyer creates his/her own Spectrasonics User Account:

Seller contacts Spectrasonics about a Stylus RMX License Transfer to: “Buyer‘s Spectrasonics User Name”
Seller provides Spectrasonics with “Seller’s Spectrasonics Username” and Stylus Serial # (which is on the Inside Front Page of the Stylus RMX Installation/User Guide)


Buyer contacts Spectrasonics: [email protected] and provides:
Buyer‘s Spectrasonics Username: ********
Buyer‘s Name: ********
Buyer‘s Email Address: ********
Buyer‘s PayPal Email Address: ********
Buyer requests Spectrasonics send him/her a PayPal invoice for the US$50 Stylus RMX Xpanded License Transfer Fee.

Buyer pays License Transfer Fee and registers Stylus RMX in his/her own account.

Spectrasonics ("clever lock!") issues a new Serial Number to the new owner.

Soooo.... I tried to register with them and no password was deemed strong enough. This is for a music software company, not a bank.
